Dr. Surendra Khambete, the visionary founder of Indratech and the Indura Eco-C™ mattress, brings a wealth of experience from the forefront of eco-innovative technologies. With an illustrious career that spans leading roles in engineering, technology development, and strategic planning, Dr. Khambete has pioneered sustainable solutions in various industries.
His academic credentials are equally impressive. He holds a Doctorate in Management focusing on collaboration and decision-making and a PhD in Designing Sustainable Systems.
Dr. Khambete's passion for creating environmentally friendly products is embodied in the Indura Eco-C™ mattress, the world's first 100% recyclable mattress, showcasing his commitment to non-toxic, clean materials and sustainable living.

OUR NO LANDFILL MISSION.
An estimated 20 million mattresses are thrown into landfills yearly, equivalent to 132,000 square miles of landfill space.
Most mattress materials are non-biodegradable and can take hundreds of years to decompose; once they break down, they can cause water and soil contamination.
By removing non-recyclable materials like memory foam, which requires fire retardants or fire barriers, we have designed a mattress that is 100% recyclable, which means NO LANDFILL WASTE.

Our team is working tirelessly to launch a comprehensive Indura Sustainability Program. Under this program, we will not only replace your mattress cover over time and recycle the used cover but also replace your comfort layers and recycle those materials.
